The adventures of Tom Sawyer: The adventures and pranks of a mischievous boy growing up in a Mississippi River town on the early nineteenth century.
The prince and the pauper: A peasant changes places with a prince and both youths learn something about the other side of life.
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: Rebellious, high spirited, and independent, Huck Finn just can't seem to change his ways. He gives it a try, though, even going so far as attending school regularly, until his coldhearted father shows up and threatens to destroy everything. The irrepressible Huck soon escapes with Jim, a runaway slave, for a raft trip down the treacherous waters of Missisippi. Huck is fleeing his father, while Jim is trying to reach free state. Join Jim and Huck in their life on the run.
A Connecticut yankee in King Arthur's court: When chance brings Edward Tudor and Tom Canty together, they decide for fun to switch clothes and places. Exchanging their roles as heir to the throne of England and as a pauper's son, they learn how the other half really lives.
The tragedy of Pudd'nhead Wilson: Two half-brothers look so similar as infants that no one can tell them apart. One, the legitimate son of a rich man, is destined for a life of comfort, while the other is condemned to be a slave as he is part black. The mother of the would be slave is also the nurse of the other; to give her son the best life possible she switches the two. Soon the boy who is given every advantage becomes spoiled and cruel.
